We are sure that you are now wondering how can I help?
Well it's pretty simple. Through our research and investigating we have found that the smallest of changes and efforts can greatly pay off. While each step may seem small and sometimes insignificant, when combined they all contribute to a greener school.
Some tips for students and parents:
-Reuse paper when possible, why not make a small tray at home where you can put some used paper which may be reused at a later time for a phone message or a shopping list!
-Use plastic bottles and boxes to bring lunch to school. Try to keep waste packaging to a minimal
-Pass on clothes that you have grown out of to younger siblings/cousins/friends or maybe bring them to a Clothes Collection which the parents association organize regularly
-Encourage recycling at home, ensuring everyone remembers to separate materials
-Remember to bring your bag for life when you go shopping
-Keep recycled materials for art and craft projects, they make wonderful musical instruments!
-Help your teachers and classmates to use the correct bins by gently reminding them
-If you see litter make sure you pop it in the bin
